Coercive control community information session
In this session you will learn what coercive control is and what it isn't, what it might look like for younger and older women, and how and where to find help for someone who might need it.
Understanding coercive control can help you identify these behaviours within your communities, your friendship groups, or your families. This understanding can help prevent escalation into the sort of violence we see too many women exposed to.
This free community information session is bought to you by the Zonta Club of Melbourne's West (Inc), as part of the international Zonta Says No to Violence Against Women campaign. Expert content will be provided by GenWest (Inc) a family violence support service that supports communities to lead safe and healthy lives, by running social and health education programs. Funding has been provided through the Hobsons Bay community grants scheme.
