Woods Street Youth Art Prize 2022
The 2022 Woods Street Youth Art Prize showcased 45 artworks created by young people aged 14 to 25 years of age from the western regions of Melbourne.
Displaying a wide range of mediums from paintings to video installation, the biennial art prize enables young people to showcase their creative talents and build confidence in exhibiting their work and a professional creative network.

Artist Encouragement Award (under 20) - $200

All prizes except the People's Choice Award were presented at an awards ceremony 6pm to 8pm, Friday 18 November 2022.
The People's Choice Award was announced via social media late November 2022.
The exhibition was on display Friday 4 November to Saturday 19 November 2022 at Woods Street Arts Space in Laverton.
As part of the exhibition, Aerosol Art workshops were held for aspiring street artists and Woods Street Arts Space’s Soundstep Studio held an ‘Introduction to studio recording’ workshop for emerging artists.

- Artist Encouragement Award (over 20) - Identity Crisis by Kate Lewis ($200)
Award winners for the 2020 Woods Street Youth Art Prize were announced in an online awards ceremony on Thursday 26 November. Presented by the Hobsons Bay Young Citizen of the Year, Augustin Kadende, the livestreamed event celebrated the achievements of all shortlisted artists in the 2020 exhibition.
