Virtual exhibition 13-28 November 2020

Join us for an innovative, virtual exhibition, presented from Laverton’s Woods Street Arts Space and beamed straight to your lounge room!

The Woods Street Youth Art Prize showcases the artistic talent and innovation of young people aged 14 to 25 from Melbourne’s western region. In 2020, exhibiting artists will respond to the theme ‘A New Power – Finding a Voice’ with a diverse and creative selection of works.

Using cutting edge VR technology, this year’s Woods Street Youth Art Prize will take the exhibition experience online.

The virtual exhibition is available to view from 13-28 November, accompanied by an engaging digital program featuring a virtual exhibition tour, talks, online workshops and more. Stay tuned!

Prize winners will be announced in a virtual celebration on Thursday 26 November, 7pm-8pm.

The Woods Street Youth Art Prize exhibition and associated programs are curated and produced by the Hobsons Bay Emerging Curators Program (ECP) committee. ECP is a professional development program that sees professional curators and arts managers mentor and support young aspiring curators.
