Hobsons Bay Seed Library launch and propagation workshop

Our new seed library boxes are ready for use! Soon you'll be able to 'loan' out seeds at no charge, save some seeds at home and contribute them back to the seed library to share with others at the end of the season. It'll make accessing seeds more equitable and also help circulate local food and native plant varieties that thrive in our conditions. 

At the launch, you can lend a helping hand to stock the libraries and connect with local gardening groups. There will be a short propagation workshop to help you get started with great results. We'll end by officially launching the seed libraries and choosing varieties to plant this spring. Please feel free to bring any surplus plants and seeds of your own to share and add to the libraries as well!
