Growing Herbs

Herbs add flavour and fragrance to any meal. They're suited to pots and small spaces and are often wasted when bought from shops. Come along and learn how easy it is to grow them at home! We'll talk about preparing your soil, designing your herb garden, preferences of common herbs and simple propagation methods. We'll get some hands-on practice by replanting the Seabrook herb garden and there'll be cuttings and seeds to take home. 

Please feel free to come early and join in the Community Garden's plant and seed swap which starts at 10am on the day in the same location. Bring along any surplus produce, seeds, cuttings, plants, gardening magazines etc. to swap and share!
