Event Management Workshop: Risk Assessment

Led by experienced Events Consultant Emily O'Brien, this workshop will cover the essentials of risk management. 

Topics include:

  • What is a risk and safety assessment?
  • Understanding why and what to include in a risk and safety plan
  • Working through the creation of a risk assessment and management plan
  • Identify, eliminate, minimise, control, monitor
  • Helpful templates to use
  • Traffic management
  • Crowd and pedestrian management
  • Safety officer's responsibilities

Refreshments available on arrival. Doors open at 6pm to encourage networking with other event organisers, with the two hour workshop starting at 6.30pm.
