Eco-inking in/with the wetland

Discover the colours of Truganina Wetlands through plant, bark and earth pigments.

Join artist Annie Bolitho at Truganina Wetlands for a mindful walk, gathering materials to take to the Louis Joel Community Centre. Find inspiration in the wealth of gathered materials and enjoy making marks using colours and tools from nature to express your connection to place.

In our second session, Annie will provide more hands-on activities including dipping, sketching with inks on paper and a simple natural dye printing process on cloth, as we continue playing with the theme of connection to place.

Important Information
Dress appropriately for the weather including closed shoes and bring your favourite watercolour paper to experiment on. If you don't have watercolour paper, there will be some available for a small extra fee.
