Tobacco Act restrictions

Test purchases are regularly conducted at tobacco retailers, eating establishments and licensed premises for sales to minors to ensure compliance with the Tobacco Act.

Council also responds to any complaints of breaches of smoke free dining, display and advertising of tobacco products and cigarette sales to minors.

Smoking is prohibited in any enclosed dining area or workplace.
