Council meetings

All Council meetings are open to the public, whether they are held in person at the Hobsons Bay Civic Centre or online.

Attendance at all Council meetings will be by registration only. Registration will open online at 4pm on the Friday before the scheduled Council meeting, or you can register at the door with proof of identification.

Registration will be issued to an individual by name, subject to the following conditions:

  • one ticket will be issued per person
  • registration is not transferable under any circumstances
  • photographic ID is required to gain entry to the meeting

It will be live streamed for those members of the public that would like to watch from home.

Agendas for each Council meeting are made available on Council’s website on the Friday prior to the Tuesday-evening meeting.

Live stream footageof Council meetings are available on Council’s website within 48 hours of the Council meeting.

Minutes of Council meetings are made publicly available in the week following the meeting.
