Wayapa Wuurrk Indigenous Earth Connection Practice
Next date: Wednesday, 30 July 2025 | 10:00 AM
to 11:00 AM
Back for a three part Winter Series by popular demand, Wayapa Wuurrk reconnects us with nature so we can better the well-being of ourselves and the planet.
The words Wayapa Wuurrk mean “connect to the earth” in the language of the Maara and Gunaikurnai peoples.
Based on the knowledges of the world’s oldest continuous living culture, Wayapa combines mindfulness and narrative meditation with physical movement.
Carry the momentum of Reconciliation Week in the first session into a regular practice of acknowledgement and connection throughout this Winter.
For those that find sitting or lying on the grass uncomfortable, you are welcome to bring a chair to the session.
Family friendly.
