Skeleton Creek

Carinza-ave

There are several areas that can be enjoyed along the length of Skeleton Creek, including access from Carinza Avenue, Clarendon Court and the southern end of Merton Street. The Skeleton Creek share trail meanders along the creek allowing visitors to explore all the natural values at their leisure. A series of interpretative signage is found along the trail from Point Cook Road down to the border of Cheetham wetlands. These signs were a collaboration between Council and the Friends of Skeleton Creek. Natural values include the mighty river red gum, which grows along the bank of the creek, birds of prey including black-shouldered kites and Australian kestrels and various waterfowl.
