Bluebells Grassland

Bluebells-Grassland.jpg

This is our smallest managed grassland reserve in Hobsons Bay. This grassland is tucked into a corner of the Altona Meadows Community Park, which has the advantage that you can explore the grassland and undertake other activities while in the area. The park has a playground, BBQ facilities, toilets and plenty of room to kick a ball.

The grassland gets its name from a small remnant population of the plant Wahlenbergia luteola, commonly known as bluebells.
