Hobsons Bay Children's Week

Get ready for a fantastic week of free fun, learning and celebration as Children’s Week returns to Hobsons Bay! Families with children aged 0–12 are invited to enjoy a full program of exciting activities and events designed to entertain, educate and inspire.

This year’s celebration is extra special as we mark 35 years of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, a milestone in recognising and protecting the rights of children around the world.

The 2025 national theme is: “Everyone should know about Children's Rights!”

A powerful reminder of the importance of empowering children to understand and embrace their rights.

Children’s Week is a proud national event held every October to honour the talents, achievements, and rights of children.
