Paint the Gardens event

Council has a rich history of supporting arts, cultural, community, sporting, tourism and special interest events through the Make It Happen grants program. 

In 2023, 31 events received support, including the Custom Classic Car and Bike Show, Laverton Festival, Diwali Festival, Monster Mayhem in the Meadows, Hobsons Bay Wetlands Centre, Williamstown Literary Festival, Sustainable Arts and Clothing Market, and the Pier Festival.

The next Make it Happen Grant round will open in February 2024.
