Urban Threads by Cara Jones at The Outside Gallery

Urban Threads is a new exhibition at The Outside Gallery in Paine Reserve, Newport. It showcases the industrial inspired artwork of Newport artist Cara Jones.

Jones is a photographer who sees beauty in industrial landscapes and uses her lens to capture their weathered and utilitarian aesthetic forms. Her artwork aims to re-imagine and accentuate the unique characteristics of these landscapes, creating a new perspective that honours their history and evolution.

We invite you to join us on the evening of Friday 30 June from 6.30-8.00pm 
at the Newport Bowls Club, 4 Market Street, Newport as we launch these works with an artist talk.

You may like to book a table and enjoy some dinner before or during the launch, and afterwards join us for a group photo in front of the exhibition. Following the artist talk you will be able to view the images and read accompanying artists notes on our website.

These artworks will be on display from 16 June 2023 until November 2023.
