PirateFest

Next date: Saturday, 09 May 2026 | 09:00 PM to Sunday, 14 June 2026 | 05:30 PM

Ahoy there, bold traveller!

Welcome to PirateFest, a grand exhibition that charts the true history of piracy across the ages. Long before the famous rogues of the Caribbean raised their black flags, sea raiders were already stalking the trade routes of the ancient world.

Explore atmospheric sets filled with hyper-realistic pirate mannequins, dramatic theatre props, and holographic ghostly captains who share tales of mutiny, treasure and betrayal.

At PirateFest ye’ll voyage through time itself, from the pirates of ancient Egypt and the Mediterranean seas, and onwards to the notorious Golden Age of Piracy in the 18th century.

PirateFest is an exciting historical exhibition which charts the history of pirates from the ancient Egyptians to the 18th-century 'Golden Age of Piracy'. We bring their real stories to life through genuine artefacts, rare treasures and immersive sets.
