The Newport Fiddle and Folk Club is delighted to announce the 2024 Newport Folk Festival dates – Friday 28 and Saturday 29 of June. We extend a warm invitation to folk enthusiasts from all over Australia to immerse themselves in this celebration of folk music and the vibrant community spirit that defines our festival.

Festival theme: ‘Come and Play’ – Be part of the magic

‘Come and Play’ is an open invitation for you to not just attend but to actively join in. Bring your instruments, your voice, and your zest for dance to engage in sessions, singing, and dancing. Our diverse lineup of workshops includes singing and rhythm, sailor songs, sessions dedicated to Celtic and old timey music and a rare opportunity to learn to polka.
