Cherry Lake

A 2.3 kilometre walking and cycling trail circuits the lake, and takes you to the western and northern surrounds, which contain interesting salt marsh habitats used by a range of water birds.

Jawbone Flora & Fauna Reserve

Jawbone Flora & Fauna Reserve consists of open grasslands for passive recreation, two wetland lakes, the salt marsh and mangrove conservation area, Wader Beach and the Kororoit Creek.

Newport Lakes

Newport Lakes is a 33 hectare park that is a great place for a picnic with family and friends, for a leisurely walk or just to relax in a tranquil bushland setting.

Point Gellibrand Coastal Heritage Park

Point Gellibrand Coastal Heritage Park is a new regional park that has been created to protect the cultural heritage values and coastal character of the area, whilst providing a range of visitor facilities and passive open space opportunities.

Truganina Coastal Parklands Altona

Truganina Coastal Parklands is home to 100 Steps of Federation and the highest point between Melbourne and the You Yangs with sweeping panoramic views. Enjoy parklands, coastal saltmarsh and adjoining Cheetham Wetlands.
