Step into the Planetarium for an engaging one-hour journey through the life and times of Galileo Galilei.
Discover his groundbreaking observations—from the moons of Jupiter and the phases of Venus to sunspots and the Moon's rugged surface—and learn how they transformed our understanding of the universe.
This special presentation of Galileo: The Power of the Telescope is enhanced with live commentary from a Scienceworks presenter, who will bring the night sky to life with additional stories, historical insights and immersive visualisations.
Designed for children aged 8 and over and their families, this experience is perfect for curious minds ready to explore the cosmos.
Book a session at 6.30pm or 8pm, then stay to enjoy gelato, hands-on pop-up activities and telescope viewing on the Arena (weather permitting).
