The Melbourne Ballpark is the premier home of baseball in Victoria, located in Altona just 15 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD via the West Gate Freeway.

Opened in 1990 and significantly upgraded in 2012, the venue has evolved into a leading destination for elite baseball in Australia. The upgrades coincided with the arrival of Melbourne’s professional team, the Melbourne Ace's, elevating the stadium’s profile and helping establish it as one of the country’s top baseball facilities.

The ballpark has hosted major national events and continues to deliver a high-quality experience for players and spectators alike.

Getting Here

Melbourne Ballpark is conveniently located at the interchange of the West Gate Freeway, Western Ring Road, and Princes Freeway, making it easily accessible by car from across Melbourne. Ample on-site parking is available for visitors.

Public transport is also a convenient option. From Flinders Street Station, the Werribee Line provides a direct 30-minute journey to Laverton Station. From there, it’s approximately a 10-minute walk to the venue.
