Stop 8: Williamstown Botanic Gardens

Capture Hobsons Bay Stop 8 Williamstown Botanical Gardens

These stunning gardens opened in 1860 and are one of the oldest botanic gardens in Australia.

Filled with rare plants and established trees, an ornamental lake, grand entrance gates, and the iconic Avenue of Palms, there are many vantage points for a variety of images. Any time of day is ideal for capturing the beauty of this spot. This image was captured at dusk with sunset highlights on the palms as well as the statue of Alfred Thomas Clark lit up in the distance.
