Since the 1970s LGBTIQA+ communities have been creating a home in Melbourne’s inner west.
From Gay-Skate in Footscray to the famous Sunshine ‘Gay’ Girl article, this exhibition tells the story of those communities’ journey for recognition and understanding from the 1970s until today.
Visit this unique exhibition, a celebration of LGBTIQA+ culture, history, and evolution, and its ongoing connection with the western suburbs.
