15 minute science show in the Ampitheatre

Explore how we might be similar or different to machines, with this fun and engaging science show that’s perfect for families.

Robo-boogie

Daily | 11am and 1pm | Free with general entry

Have you ever wanted to dance the robot? Now, you can! And you can learn all about coding while you’re at it.
This 15 minute activity uses dance as a way to teach basic concepts of programming. Visitors will be taught a set of dance moves, and kids will be able to ‘program’ the dance by rearranging the order of the moves – it’s fun, active and (sneakily) educational!

CSIRAC, Australia’s first computer, is on display right here at Scienceworks! Come by at the designated time slots to listen to a staff member tell you all about this amazing piece of history and technology.
