Local Shopping Villages

With an endless supply of shopping precincts, Hobsons Bay boasts the feel of village shopping without the hustle & bustle of the city.

Having a unique range of new and old stores, along with plenty of car parking and access to public transport, shopping is made a breeze at each location.

Williamstown

Originally Melbourne's first seaport, Williamstown has developed from what was a run-down industrialised centre into a popular and fashionable maritime village.

Altona

Pier Street, Altona and surrounding streets contain all of the businesses you would expect to find in a high street, including a large supermarket, hair stylists, giftware stores, banks, cafes, restaurants and more.

Newport

Once known as Williamstown Junction, Newport now offers a fantastic array of experiences for shoppers and visitors.

South Kingsville

Located on Vernon St just off Blackshaws Road, South Kingsville is a shopping strip with a number of intriguing local businesses.

Laverton

Centred on Aviation Road just off the Princes Freeway, Laverton is a convenient shopping strip that offers a great variety of products.

Spotswood

The Spotswood shopping strip runs along Hudsons Road and features a variety of cafes, restaurants and a number of bespoke retail outlets.
