Better Places Laverton - Woods & Lohse Streets upgrade stage 1

The first stage of the planned upgrade works around the shops and the playground area at Woods and Lohse streets Laverton has started.

Stage 1 involves upgrade works at the shared paths in front of the shops, and the footpath running between Lohse street shops and the old police station. The upgrade will allow for easier and flexible programming of future outdoor events with more open green space, new street furniture and improved public paved areas. 

Expected completion date:

Stage 1 is expected to be completed by the end of Quarter 2 of the 2024-25 financial year.
