The 2019 Channels Festival, curated by artistic director Kelli Alred, invites Australian and international artists to present works that expand our understanding of history, connectivity, power and place. Channels Festival is a non-profit, artist-led organisation which aims to expand awareness and appreciation of video art as an important, powerful and vital practice, through an ambitious program of contemporary work.

Don't miss Ultimately Geographies exhibition as part of the festival, curated by Artistic Director Kelli Alred, investigates relationships between individuals, communities and power structures using video art. The exhibition features multi-channel video works by London-Istanbul based duo Noor Afshan Mirza and Brad Butler, Australian artist Reko Rennie and Kazakhstani artist Almagul Menlibayeva.
