Draft Urban Forest Strategy Facebook LIVE Q&A

Frank Gibson Reserve tree planting

The Hobsons Bay community is invited to a Facebook LIVE Q&A about the Urban Forest Strategy this Thursday 2 July, from 10.30 to 11.30am.

Council staff will be on hand to answer questions about our ambitious plan to increase the city’s tree canopy cover to 30 per cent by 2040. Register at https://www.facebook.com/events/293815848671310/

You don’t need to go anywhere....as long as you’re connected to the internet, and can jump onto Facebook, you can ask us a question.

Register on our Facebook event by clicking ‘going’. Post your questions on the event beforehand or on the day. We are looking forward to hearing from you and responding to your questions on Thursday 2 July.

The Draft Urban Forest Strategy aims to develop a healthy and resilient urban forest and to increase the understanding of the attributes, roles and benefits of an urban canopy.

You can have your say on the Draft Urban Forest Strategy on Participate Hobsons Bay. We want to hear as much feedback as possible from our community. Feedback closes  23 July 2020.

The Urban Forest Strategy is part of Cr Colleen Gates' Mayoral Program, which focuses on improving our tree canopy and enhancing our open spaces.
