Conservation Bike Ride

wildflowers.jpg

This guided biodiversity discovery bike ride will open your mind to the wonders of plant and animal life. It will also show you our incredibly diverse grasslands, wetlands and foreshore and the importance of protecting these areas.

The approximate 10km one-way ride will take in the beautiful Emu Foot Grassland, the diverse Skeleton Creek, the scenic Truganina Park and our important wetlands and foreshore. We will pause at some of these interesting sites to chat about their value to the natural environment of Hobsons Bay and finish with a cuppa & cake at a cafe in Altona.

Due to the nature of the ride, which is targeted more at adults, we recommend that participants be teenagers or older to attend. Any teenagers MUST be accompanied by a parent or adult.

BYO bicycle.
