Celebrate Australia Day at Seaworks, Williamstown with a line-up of local and Indigenous talent.
Featuring Wiradjuri Soprano Vocalist Shauntai Batzke, Aboriginal poet Robbie Batzke, The Glenrowan Bush Band, Visionary-Steel and The World’s Biggest Garage Band.
The breakfast ceremony will include an Acknowledgement of Country, a welcome from the Mayor and a speech from the Australia Day Ambassador as well as the National Anthem. We will hear stories from a diverse range of community members before we move on to a celebration of musical talent.
Tickets are $10 which gives you tea, coffee and juice until 10 AM. Add your choice of breakfast box for $12.50.
After 10 AM, food trucks in the courtyard can be accessed for more food and drinks while you watch the musical performances until 1pm.
Doors open at 7.30am.
The event recognises and celebrates the importance of the history, traditions and cultures of Indigenous Australians, as well as acknowledging active citizenship and achievements of some of our outstanding residents.
This is a COVID Safe event. Please bring your mask to wear while you are inside and not eating.
