Community Room setup for wedding

Seabrook Community Centre has meeting and event space available for hire for corporate, community, business or individual use. Commercial and not for profit rates are available upon enquiry.

Casual and regular booking inquiries are welcome but currently suspended as from 2 May until further notice.

All hirers including regular and casual require Covid safe plans and MOUs prior to confirming bookings

If you have already viewed the centre and we are holding a tentative casual booking, please call us for the email link to the online booking form or if you are a new regular hirer, please contact the centre to discuss availability.

The spaces for hire include:

Multipurpose Rooms 1 and 2

These rooms are designed for multipurpose use and can be hired individually or opened up to be used as one large room. An operable wall separates or joins the two rooms, and each multipurpose room has access to a kitchen/ette, fridge and microwave.

Individually, each room can hold up to:

  • 15 during COVID space limits  Usually 40 people seated theatre style; or
  • 24 people seated at tables

As a function space, the double room can hold up to 30 people during COVID space limits or usually  80 people and there are a total of 13 trestle tables and 80 chairs.

Audio Visual Equipment (community room 2 or whole space only)

  • projector
  • automated drop down projector screen
  • laptop connection point
  • iPod/phone audio connection point
  • free wifi


This room can be used for a variety of small meetings, training  or activities.

The room seats 8 people during COVID space limits or usually 16 people, and includes:

  • 4 Trestle tables (Tables can be configured in a range of formats)
  • 16 chairs
  • Carpet
  • Single toilet and washroom
  • Reverse cycle air conditioning
  • Block out blinds

Note: no public  wifi is available in this room

This room also has a kitchenette which includes:

  • Mini fridge
  • Microwave
  • Tea and coffee facilities

Consulting Room

This room is suitable for meetings, interviews or professional consulting and can accommodate 4-5 people.

This room also has:

  • Desk and computer with free wifi access
  • Telephone
  • Hand basin
  • Examination bed
