The Laverton Community Hub has a range of meeting and event spaces available for hire for corporate, community, business or individual use. Commercial and not for profit rates are available upon enquiry. Casual and regular bookings are welcome.

The spaces for hire include:

Multipurpose Rooms 1 and 2

These rooms are designed for multipurpose use and can be hired individually or opened up to be used as one large room. An operable wall separates or joins the two rooms, and each multipurpose room has access to the double kitchen.

Individually, each room can hold up to:

  • 50 People seated theatre style; or
  • 24 people seated at tables

Audio Visual Equipment:

  • Computer
  • Projector
  • Automated drop down projector screen
  • Laptop connection point
  • iPod audio connection point
  • Cordless microphone

Recreation Room

This room can be used for a variety of activities. The recreation room seats 36 people and includes:

  • Trestle tables
  • 40 chairs with arm rest
  • (Tables can be configured in a range of formats) 
  • This room also has a kitchenette which includes:

  • Bar Fridge
  • Microwave
  • Sandwich Press
  • Tea and coffee facilities

Classrooms 1, 2, 3 and 4

The hub has four fully equipped classrooms available for hire:

Classroom 1: 18 workspaces

Classroom 2: 18 workspaces

Classroom 3: 12 workspaces

Classroom 4: 15 workspaces

All classrooms include:

  • Trestle tables
  • Chairs
  • Whiteboards
  • Pin board

  • Computer
  • Projector
  • Automated drop down projector screen
  • Laptop connection point

Creative Room

This room has been primarily designed as an arts and crafts space. It is the only meeting room without carpet and has chairs that are not upholstered for easy wipe down.

The creative room comfortably seats 16 people and includes:

  • Trestle tables
  • Bench space and double sinks for wash up and clean up
  • Tea and coffee facilities

  • Laptop connection point
  • Projector
  • Automated drop down projector screen

Function Room

The function room has to be seen to be believed with its polished parquetry floors, velvet drapery and feature planters. This room can accommodate:

  • 144 people seated at round tables 
  • 270 people seated theatre style

This room also has:

  • A stage
  • Access to a commercial kitchen (available for hire)

  • Two cordless microphones
  • iPod audio connectivity

Training Kitchen

This state-of-the-art kitchen is designed for training and commercial needs and adjoins our function room. The training kitchen includes:

  • Eight workstations
  • Five gas ovens and cook tops
  • Rational combi-steamer oven
  • Commercial dishwasher
  • Preparation and cleaning sinks
  • Chefs preparation bench
  • Electric salamanders
  • Two commercial fridges

Office Spaces

The hub has office spaces for sole or shared use. Each office is equipped with modern office furniture and telephones that integrate with the hub telephone system.
