Free RSA Course
The Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is a requirement for those who sell, offer or serve alcohol. It is a standard four-hour course, that takes you through:
- Problems associated with excessive consumption
- Alcohol and the law
- Who is responsible
- Facts about alcohol
- Strategies for responsible service
- Refusal of service
The certificate expires every three years; however, you can take a ‘refresher course’ to extend the validity.
This is strictly open to only young people age 16 and above. The practice of serving alcohol may only be done when the participant is over the age of 18. This program is free and open to young people up to 25 years old who live, work, study or recreate within Hobsons Bay.
