Volunteers needed - L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program

Are you interested in volunteering to help young people get their driver’s licence? L2P is currently recruiting for people to volunteer as Driver Mentors. This is a fully insured program.

L2P is a comprehensive state-wide, community-based program that recruits volunteers to provide supervised driving experience to learner drivers under 21 years of age who find it difficult to meet the mandated 120 hours of driving practice due to family, economic or other circumstances. Young people are matched with fully licensed volunteer mentors who work towards helping them to achieve their driver’s licence.

Mentors are provided with a car, petrol, insurance, training and support.

To register your interest in volunteering, contact the WynBay L2P Project Officer on 0487 465 687 or email at l2p@lcis.org.au.

The Wynbay L2P Program is a combined community effort and partnership between Laverton Community Integrated Services, Wyndham and Hobsons Bay Councils, VicRoads, Bendigo Bank Community Grants Program and Kia Motors Hoppers Crossing; with partners providing in-kind and financial assistance.
