Christmas Hampers 2023

We are partnering with Laverton Community Integrated Services (LCIS) and the Hobsons Bay Crisis and Emergency Relief Committee to provide Christmas hampers for those that are most in need. 

Each year, our local not-for-profit organisations help hundreds of individuals and families in need in the Hobsons Bay community, and this year more people are needing a helping hand than ever before. 

If you can afford do to so, we are asking our community to come together and donate some special treats to help bring a little cheer to local families. 

Donations will be collected until December 8.

Donations

All non-perishable donations are welcome, (non-damaged, non-opened, within date) but at this time we are encouraging special donations to bring some joy to families this Christmas:

- Christmas Puddings

- mini panettone

- Christmas bon bons   

- pancake mix 

- relishes/jams/nut butters

- sweet or savory snacks   

- pasta & pasta sauces 

- instant noodles/soups 

- long life milks, teas & coffee

- tinned fruit/beans/tuna/salmon 

- drinks (non-alcoholic)

- toiletries

You can drop our donations in the collection boxes at the following locations during their regular opening hours:

  • Altona Library
  • Altona Meadows Library and Learning Centre
  • Altona North Community Library
  • BayFit Leisure Centre 
  • Hobsons Bay Civic Centre
  • Jim's Self Storage, Williamstown 
  • Laverton Community Hub 
  • Louis Joel Arts & Community Centre 
  • Newport Community Hub
  • Seabrook Community Centre
  • South Kingsville Community Centre 
  • Williamstown Library
  • Woods Street Arts Space

Hobsons Bay Crisis and Emergency Relief Committee

The Hobsons Bay Crisis and Emergency Relief Committee is comprised of local organisations and service providers who assist those in need in the Hobsons Bay community including:

  • Anglicare Victoria
  • Holy Trinity Anglican Church Williamstown
  • Latitude: Directions for Young People 
  • Laverton Community Integrated Services (LCIS)
  • Outlets Co-Op Newport 
  • Salvation Army
