White Ribbon Day
White Ribbon Day is a national campaign to end men’s violence against women. The campaign works through primary prevention initiatives involving awareness raising and education. It runs programs with young people, schools, workplaces and across the broader community, and has a range of male advocates and ambassadors speaking out against violence towards women.
White Ribbon Day in Australia is held annually on 23 November and plays a supporting role to the United Nations UNiTE to End Violence against Women and The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender based Violence campaigns which are held internationally from 25 November – 10 December each year.
