Mich Odzic of Tiger Painting Ltd recently volunteered a day to paint and plaster a bedroom in a shared accommodation house.

Community organisation annecto - the people network manage a number of staffed houses for people with a disability within Hobsons Bay and wanted to welcome a new resident with a freshly painted room.

Mich completed the professional job in a short time frame that has really lifted the whole house.

One Umbrella is a unique organisation that collects food from food that cannot be used from food wholesalers, catering companies, food outlets and other organisations and turns it into nutritious meals that are distributed to charities across Melbourne.

One Umbrella is hoping to increase the number of meals it distributes to Hobsons Bay and is moving to a much larger kitchen to increase production. They are seeking donations of commercial kitchen equipment and food.
