Amendment C105 – Former Port Phillip Woollen Mills
What does Amendment C105 do?
Amendment C105 implements some of the recommendations of the Former Port Phillip Woollen Mills Advisory Committee (May 2011) by making the following changes:
- Replace existing indicative height limits with mandatory heights across the site ranging from 10 metres to 25 metres.
- Include dimensioned measurements on the development plan at Clause 1.0 of Design and Development Overlay Schedule 11.
- Introduce application requirements for emergency management for the whole site and a coastal hazard vulnerability assessment.
The amendment also applies a Development Contributions Plan Overlay, Schedule 1 (DCPO1) to the land. The DCPO1 does not specify the amount of contribution required from a developer and before Council can request a contribution, a Developer Contributions Plan must be prepared and implemented via a further planning scheme amendment.
