| Hobsons Bay City Council provides a range of support for business operators and information for visitors.
Businesses can have their business listed free of charge in the Council's business directory, which is a fully searchable directory used by people looking for goods or services in Hobsons Bay.
The Council operates a Level Two Accredited Visitor Information Centre in Williamstown. The Visitor Information Centre can assist tourism related businesses to reach over 50,000 potential customers a year.
Local business operators can discuss with the Visitor Information Centre staff, opportunities to enhance their business with access to brochure displays, visitation statistics and visitor profiles.
The Council produces a business newsletter, Hobsons Bay Works, that provides information on training programs, Council events or contacts that will help grow your business.
Local businesses can also get help and advice from Business Victoria via a search and ask a question facility, including information on planning, starting and running a business.
