The Council's Youth Services Team provides a variety of services and support to young people between the ages of 12-25 years who live, work or study within Hobsons Bay.

Recreational Activities for Young People
Recreational activities for young people include a school holiday program and youth drop-in centres.

Skill Development and Youth Participation
Programs that offer young people an opportunity to be involved in the community while gaining practical skills.
Youth Voice Committee
The Youth Voice Committee is responsible for an annual grants program and organising activities and events during National Youth Week.
Youth Grants
The 'Making A Difference Today' Youth Grants program is open to organisations, groups of young people and individuals to apply for small grants to run a project.
Counselling for Young People
The Family and Youth Counsellor can help with any concerns you may have such as relationships, family difficulties and problems at school.
Support for Young People
Support based programs and services that focus on issues such as self-esteem, drug and alcohol issues, bullying and anger management.
School Focused Youth Service (SFYS)
The SFYS assists young people at risk of self-harm, disconnection from school, their family or their community.
Young People with Disabilities
Programs and support for young people with mild to moderate disabilities.
Recognition and Reward Program
The Recognition and Reward program acknowledges young people’s achievements and contribution to Hobsons Bay.
Youth Services Planning
This involves providing local leadership and advocating on youth issues. The Youth Strategic Plan outlines key priorities and actions to meet the needs of young people in Hobsons Bay.
