Disabled Person's Parking Permit
The Council processes applications for the disabled person's parking permit.
Companion Card Program
The companion card is available to people with a disability who are unable to access most community activities and venues without attendant care support.
Children with Additional Needs
Information about the different services and support available for children with additional needs, including home and community care.
Access For All Abilities Program
The program supports projects and services that will increase the participation of people with disabilities in sport and recreation.
MetroAccess
MetroAccess is a program which aims to increase inclusion and participation of people with disabilities in the life of their local community.
Good Access Awards
The Good Access Award recognise local businesses and sports and recreation providers that provide good access, enabling everyone to use their service.
Disability Services Planning
The Council aims to assist people with a disability and their families to participate in community life within the municipality.
Disability Advisory Committee
The Disability Advisory Committee (DAC) provides advice to the Council on long term and strategic issues that affect people with a disability and their families.
Disability Act 2006
The Disability Act 2006 introduced new laws about services for people with a disability.
