Activities for Older People
Information about activities for older people, including planned activity groups and senior citizen's centres.
Assessment and Care Management
If you feel that any of the Council's Aged and Adult Disability services may be of help to you or someone you are caring for contact us for an assessment.
Food Services
Older people and people with a disability who are unable to prepare their own meals can be assessed for food services, including meals on wheels and cafe meals.
In-Home Support
Information about home care, personal care, respite care and assistance with garden and property maintenance.
Veterans' Home Care Service
Information about the Veterans' Home Care Service that includes home care, personal care, home and garden maintenance and in-home respite services for veterans.
Carers Support Group
The Council runs a carers support group for carers of older people or people with a disability living in Hobsons Bay.
Overnight Respite Care - Bateman House
Bateman House in Williamstown gives carers the opportunity for a break by providing the person they care for with up to five nights of accommodation and support.

Information about the policies and strategies that guide the Council's work to plan and provide services for older people.
Ageing Well Strategy
The strategy guides the Council's work towards ensuring all residents are able to age well and remain active within their local communities.
