Point Gellibrand Foreshore

Location

Point Gellibrand Foreshore spans the coastal area between Ann Street Pier and Thompson Street, Williamstown.

This area is accessible via the coastal trail and has several historical points of interest including Point Gellibrand Coastal Heritage Park and the old fort site of Fort Gellibrand.

Recreational Activities and Facilities

Recreation facilities along the trail include the Williamstown Cricket Ground and barbeque and picnic facilities.

This area offers a good vantage point to view ships as they head out into Port Phillip Bay, and is widely used for walking, cycling, fishing and dog walking both on and off-leash.
