Children's Plan 2009-2013
The Children’s Plan (Municipal Early Years Plan) 2009 – 2013 was adopted by the Council on Wednesday, 20th October 2009.
The Children’s Plan is based on the findings of the community consultation and demographic and policy analysis.
The purpose of the plan is to inform and guide our work relating to children in their early years (aged zero to eight years) and their families.
The plan includes four key goal areas for the Council to focus on in partnership with the community and state and federal government over the next four years.
It is accompanied by three background documents which include:
- Early Years Community Profile;
- Community Consultation Document; and
- Policy Review Document.
