Melbourne Water will be upgrading the 100-year-old sewer between Pasco Street Williamstown and Scienceworks in Spotswood. Construction is planned to start in early 2017 and is expected to take around 18 months to complete.
These works are essential to ensuring the reliability of sewage service for the next 50 years. Failure to upgrade the sewer could result in sections of the sewer collapsing, disrupting local sewerage services.
