The Hobsons Bay Council Plan 2017-21 guides the work of the Council over the next four years. It is the doing part of the Hobsons Bay 2030 community vision, which was created BY the community, FOR the community. The Council Plan has been informed by feedback that we have gathered from our community and it sets the priorities for creating an even better Hobsons Bay.

Major Initiatives and Initiatives 2016-2017(PDF, 316KB)
The Quarter 1 (July to September 2016) Progress Report(PDF, 414KB) indicates Council's progress against the Council Plan. Reporting on the progress of the Council Plan's initiatives and major initiatives is a legislative requirement and it also assists Council to ensure progress on work is on track throughout the financial year.
To understand and to better plan to meet community needs Council undertakes an Annual Community Survey. This survey involves feedback from 800 door-to-door interviews seeking feedback on a range of Council services and facilities as well as additional issues that the community are facing in the municipality. Below are the findings from the survey.
