Council Plan 2013-17

The Council Plan 2013-2017(PDF, 5MB) describes how Council will work towards achieving the vision and priorities of the Community Health and Wellbeing Plan 2013-17. It includes the organisational mission, principles and values and describes how we will measure success. The Council Plan is reviewed each year to ensure it remains up-to-date.

Every year Council develops an Annual Plan which articulates the initiatives that Council will be undertaking during the financial year in order to work towards achieving the goals and objectives in the Council Plan.

The Quarter 1 (July to September 2016) Progress Report(PDF, 414KB) indicates Council's progress against the Council Plan. Reporting on the progress of the Council Plan's initiatives and major initiatives is a legislative requirement and it also assists Council to ensure progress on work is on track throughout the financial year.

To understand and to better plan to meet community needs Council undertakes an Annual Community Survey. This survey involves feedback from 800 door-to-door interviews seeking feedback on a range of Council services and facilities as well as additional issues that the community are facing in the municipality.
