The Hobsons Bay Civic Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00pm. It is closed public holidays.

By train
Catch a Werribee train and get off at Altona. Cross the tracks and head north up Pier Street. The entry to the Hobsons Bay Civic Centre is behind the three flag poles and the eternal flame. If you are in a wheelchair, there is a path to the right of the roundabout.
By bus
Route 415 (Laverton-Williamstown) stops at Laverton and Williamstown North train stations. The bus runs via Civic Parade and there is a bus stop at the front of the Hobsons Bay Civic Centre or near the train station on Pier Street.
By bike
There is a bike path that runs through Cherry Lake or along the Coastal Trail. At Altona Pier turn right up Pier Street, go straight over the roundabouts and cross the train tracks. At the next roundabout turn left and then right into the Council's car park. There is a bike rack outside the main entrance.
By car
Visitor parking spaces are to the right at the front of the building as well as to the left near the main entrance.

Getting to Williamstown Town Hall
The Town Hall and library are at 104 Ferguson Street behind Lenore Crescent and Bath Place, Williamstown. Melways ref: 56 B8
On arrival approach the customer service desk inside the library's main entrance for assistance.
By train
During peak hours catch the Williamstown train and at all other times catch a Werribee train and change at Newport for the Williamstown train. Get off at Williamstown North, cross Station Street and head east along Ferguson Street. Cross at the roundabout with Melbourne Road and the Town Hall is 150 metres on the left.
By bus
Route 415 (Laverton-Williamstown) stops at Laverton and Williamstown North train stations. The bus runs via Ferguson Street and there is a bus stop 50 metres from the Town Hall at the corner of Ferguson and Richard Streets.
By bike
There is a bike path that runs along the Coastal Trail or along The Strand. Turn right at the roundabout on the corner of Ferguson Street and travel along the cycle lane to the pedestrian crossing at the front of the Town Hall. There is a bike rack outside the library entrance.
By car
Visitor parking spaces are at the front of the Town Hall, off Ferguson Street.
