The Bridge Project

Do you want to gain a Certificate I in Vocation Preparation in the Work Readiness and Life Skills Training Program? 

You can enhance your skills and knowledge in an interactive program that provides a casual, relaxed atmosphere, including sport and recreation activities. 

You will be rewarded for your efforts with a recreation 10 pass card, sports appeal , lunch and refreshments and your Certificate I in Vocational Prep. 

The program is run by the YMCA and Hobsons Bay Youth Services. 

When: Tuesday, 28th and Wednesday, 29th May and Wednesday, 5th, Thursday, 6thand Friday, 7th June 2013. 

Where: Altona Sports Centre, Queen Street, Altona Meadows.

Time: 10.15 am - 4.00 pm

Finding Your Feet program 

Get out and about, be around others and meet new people.

Finding Your Feet is a welcoming, safe and supportive group for young people aged 18 – 25 who’ve been having troubles with their mental health. 

This eight week group will give you a chance to learn new skills and recognise the skills you already have. 

Each week, group members will decide what happens in the group - art, cooking, sport, games - you choose! 

Where: Mind Amaroo, Williamstown 

When: Thursdays, starting May 2nd 2013 

Time: 1.30 pm - 3.30 pm
