Hobsons Bay City Council, Toyota Australia, the Victorian Government and Friends of Lower Kororoit Creek invite you to the opening of the first major section of the Kororoit Creek Trail in Hobsons Bay.
Join us in planting 2,300 trees, plants and native grasses along the banks of the creek to celebrate National Tree Day and be among the first to view Geoffrey Ricardo’s public art commission ‘Spirits of Time and Place’.
All planting participants are requested to wear suitable clothing and, if possible, bring a hammer and trowel as planting equipment is limited. Please register at the registration tent before joining in the planting.
There will be a free BBQ lunch and entertainment for the whole family.
